27th November - Birth of our baby

In the early hours of this morning, our baby, weighing 7 1/2 lb, was born. We had a huge suprise to find it was not a boy - as predicted! We have a lovely little girl. Here is a picture of her, named Bethany, only 11 hours old!

We had our 4D scan today!

We had our 4D scan earlier today! It was a great experience seeing what our baby looks like - we are now convinced our baby is a boy! Vote in the poll with your opinion!

We saw him/her yawn a couple of times & we think we saw the eyes flicker slightly - like they were trying to open them

Update - 19 August

We have had a further growth scan today. Above is the scan pic. The head is towards the left, an arm can be seen at the top & their stomach is towards the right.

Several measurements were taken during the scan. All of which were bigger than the average for 24 weeks. It could indicate that the pregnancy is further along or simply a big baby!!

Update - 01 August

The baby is now 22 weeks old & moving around so much! This is our second pregnancy, but unfortunately, our first pregnancy ended in mis-carriage in July 2007.

This time, the hospital are keeping an eye on my girlfriend more. We will be having another scan on the 19th August (approx 24 weeks)

Detailed scan - 22/07/08

This is the photo of our latest scan - the detailed scan on 22/07/08. He/She was 20 weeks & 3 days old at this stage. We don't know the sex of the baby yet, we would like this to be a suprise!

We will be having another scan on the 19th August. Visit again after this day to see the pics!!

First scan - 02/05/08

This is a scan photo of our baby at just under 10 weeks old. The head is towards the left & you can, just about, make out a leg to the right.
